How contributions are used

Sunny Glen children’s Home uses donations to help care for all of the forgotten children who find their way here. We take care of the children’s needs by providing good and nutritious food for the children to eat, clothes to wear, toys to play with and school supplies to help them succeed.

We provide homes for the children to live and, like any other household, we must maintain and repair our houses and facilities. We make sure that our children have a comfortable and stable home environment in which to live.

In addition to housing, we sustain a learning center, complete with a computer lab and a library, to help the children study. We keep up a playground to give the children a place to play, and we maintain offices to facilitate all of the paperwork involved with running Sunny Glen Children’s Home.

In addition, Sunny Glen employs childcare professionals to provide the children with round the clock care and supervision. Each of our houseparents are required to have a high school diploma or GED. Sunny Glen Children’s Home also employs administrative staff to keep everything in the home running smoothly and support staff to give our houseparents enough time to provide the children with the attention and love they need.
